Besides officially announcing the Galaxy S22 series of the Korean company’s flagship devices for the current year 2022, Samsung also revealed one of the most distinguished and advanced tablets in a long time. Yes, we are talking here about the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 5G. Samsung announced three new tablets from the Galaxy Tab series, the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus, and also the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra – of course, the S8 Ultra version is the strongest and best among them, which is what we’re talking about today.
The new Samsung Tab S8 Ultra came with a giant 14.6-inch display, a dual-lens selfie camera, Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, as well as a fingerprint reader built into the bottom of the screen. Also, Samsung has put in the three devices new wallpapers designs that were made just for them, which you can now get in the original quality from below.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Tab (Plus & Ultra) Specifications
The last three releases of the 2022 Galaxy Tab series came in different sizes, as well as different specifications. The Galaxy Tab S8 as an example, the “standard version” came with an 11-inch TFT screen, while the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus version came with an AMOLED one and it’s a little bigger at 12.4-inch with support for a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also, there is a “notch” at the top of the display that contains the dual camera inside.
Memory here is available with several options that you can choose between them. The new Galaxy Tab S8 tablets came with capacities of 8 or 12GB of RAM, in addition to 128 or 256GB of storage.
Camera
We’re talking about tablets here, so don’t be surprised to find that it actually comes with modest photography features. The new Galaxy Tab S8 series all came with a dual rear camera. There is a 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.0 aperture and support for some basic imaging features. As for the other lens, it is Ultra-wide for shooting very wide angles, and it comes with only 6-megapixels.
As for the front, both Tab S8 and S8 Plus came with one 12-megapixel selfie camera, while the Ultra version here came with two cameras at the front, one of them for basic shooting with 12-megapixels as well, and the other for Ultra-wide shooting with 12-megapixels.
If you are wondering about the colors, Samsung announced both the Tab S8 as well as the S8+ in color options: graphite, silver, and rose gold, while the most expensive version of them, the S8 Ultra, came in graphite only.
Giant Battery
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 tablet came with a very large 8,000mAh battery, while the S8 Plus battery came with a larger 10,090mAh battery, and the Tab S8 Ultra battery is the largest among them with a size of 11,200mAh, and it supports 45W fast charging.
