When your Samsung Device will updated to One UI 6.1?

At the Galaxy S24 series launch event, Samsung unveiled several new Galaxy AI features developed in collaboration with Google. These features are integrated into Samsung’s latest One UI 6.1 firmware update. While the new firmware is already being rolled out to many Galaxy devices, the official global release for the One UI 6.1 update is scheduled for May 6, 2024, with a wider rollout expected by May 14, 2024.

The One UI 6.1 firmware update has recently been rolled out for the Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5, alongside the Galaxy S22 series, S21 series phones, and the Galaxy Foldable series in South Korea this week. Samsung has also released a list of devices scheduled to receive the One UI 6.1 update starting May 2024. It appears that Samsung is fulfilling its promise to provide timely updates across its range of devices.

The Galaxy AI One UI 6.1 software update was recently deployed for the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series in South Korea. However, there are reports suggesting that the rollout might have been paused temporarily due to issues related to lock screen bugs.

One UI 6.1 Rollout Schedule

As per information shared by Twitter user CID, it is anticipated that One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy S21 FE, A53, and A54 devices in Canada will become available by May 14, 2024. This suggests that users in European and Asian countries can expect to start receiving the update from May 6, 2024.

The One UI 6.1 update is anticipated to resume globally by May 6, 2024, marking the beginning of a widespread rollout.

This latest update introduces a host of AI features such as Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, and AI-Generated Wallpaper.

Speculations suggest that Samsung will initiate the rollout of One UI 6.1 in various regions, including Europe, North America, and Asian countries, starting either tomorrow or at the latest, May 6, 2024, extending its availability across the globe, including the United States.
